The Right Karisma Pays Off

Christmas couldn't be happier for Karisma and her new family. An update from her new family. "She is wonderful! The kids have really gotten attached to her and she has fit right into our home and routine. Our other dog "Charlie" initiates play time a lot now and they get along great. No fights at all. Kari loves to run around in our yard and hunt up any kind of critters that have come thru. The deer really confuse her.
She was extremely shy in the beginning, cowering about everything, but now she is very happy. We have some work to do to get her leash trained, she is just terrified on the leash. My plan is to take her to some "fun" places like the park and nature preserve, so she can see that the leash is no big deal. Also, puppy school in the spring."

Enjoying the last bit of fall...

I finally got spayed about a week ago, and I was really sleepy afterwards...but the next day I was my old self again. My foster mom is amazed at my ability to bounce back so quickly. I feel great, and have been busy playing catch with my other doggie pals at my foster home. Check out my newest pictures taken today!

I am a really great dog, and would make a great addition to your family. Do you have a place in your heart and home for me?

Where has the time gone?

Wow! I can't believe I've been at my foster home for 3 months now! My foster mom says sorry for not posting new pictures of me, she has been very busy! She does have some new pics, and I must say, I look pretty darn cute.

My greatest joy is to play with my new friends and then take a nice warm nap on the couch. Even though I'm the smallest, I beat them both in all our games. I love to sit outside in the grass and smell the fresh breezes. I'm the kind of dog that really enjoys the simple things in life, you can learn a lot from me! Do you have room for an adorable, friendly, cuddly couch warmer in your life?

Here's me and my foster mom being silly!
(I really love my belly rubbed...:)

Here's me waking up after a nice afternoon nap!

Well I have been at my new foster home for a week now...and I am loving it! I have two new friends to play with, a comfy bed, tasty treats, and my foster family gives me lots of love. I am really enjoying this new life! My foster mom took some pictures of me in action, take a look...

I am going to be spayed soon (what's that???), and have already started my heartworm and Frontline treatments. My foster mom says I am really smart because I have already learned to sit nice, come when called and go into my crate when she asks me. I just like the treats! I am also really good about going potty outside.

My foster mom says that I would be a perfect dog for just about anybody. I would be great with kids, other dogs, and for people who have never had a dog before and would like one. I walk great on the leash and am very loving and affectionate. Would you like to be my forever home?
